Deniz is excited to be re-elected to the ALORA board after her first term, which gave her the room to work with peers in making the environment at the OECD a better place for colleagues and their families alike. She looks forward to putting her vast experience from inside and outside of the Organisation to good use and continuing to serve ALORA and its members!

Newly elected to the ALORA Board, Anna has been at the OECD for more than three years now. She would like to help ALORA provide even more great services to staff through events and services. She finds that one of the best things about working at the OECD is working with people from all over the world and that ALORA is particularly well-positioned to leverage this great opportunity for cultural sharing. She looks forward to sharing her many ideas to better support staff, particularly younger staff, through fun events and activities that engage everyone.

CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
Discover the art of storytelling and the fundamentals of creative writing in this English-language workshop, open to beginners and experienced writers alike. Each session combines a short craft lesson—on essentials like plot, dialogue and character—with time for free writing and exercises tailored to your own projects and interests.
If there is sufficient demand, members will also have the opportunity to workshop their writing using the Iowa method (a supportive approach for constructive feedback).
Taught by an award-winning fiction writer and former nonfiction book editor, this workshop is designed to help you grow as a writer while connecting with a supportive creative community.
